Framing - Aug 25, 2007
322-328 East Julianna St., Anaheim, CA
Framing Day starts after much planning and organizing.
It starts on a big empty slab of concrete.
Framing Day is kind of a misnomer since many of the walls were constructed off-site and stored in two very large storage containers.
It was more like Unloading Day.
The day brought together different people sharing common goals.
To build a house,
to share our strengths,
to make friends,
to help others,
to struggle,
to pound nails,
to have a laugh,
to build sweat equity.
The first walls are up. The trucks are unloaded. The walls are stacked and organized where they will be used in the upcoming weeks.
