The 15th annual Leaders Build Challenge was a great success and raised critical funds for Habitat for Humanity of Orange County’s mission to provide safe and affordable housing for workforce families in Orange County. Congratulations to the “RED” team captained by John Cunningham of the John R. and M. Margrite Davis Foundation for winning the competition!
Road to 100 Homes
Habitat for Humanity of Orange County has set a goal to grow the number of affordable homes in our pipeline to over 100 in the next two years.
Orange County leaders’ participation in the event helped increase attention on the importance of safe and affordable homeownership and drew out many city and county officials including Tom Umberg California 34th District, Vincente Sarmiento, Orange County Supervisor 2nd District, and Mayor Farrah N. Khan who have moved this issue to the top of their priorities. Leaders Build was covered in The Orange County Register, The Epoch Times, KTLA and The Orange County Business Journal.
The day also helped introduce and build relationships between business leaders within the Orange County area.
Lunch & Learn
To make the dream of homeownership a reality, Habitat for Humanity of Orange County is launching its Lunch & Learn program for Orange County businesses and their employees.
Invite us for a 30-minute presentation on affordable homeownership, in-person or on Zoom, to share how your workforce or someone they know can become first-time homebuyers in Orange County. For more information or to schedule a presentation, email us at corporaterelations@habitatoc.org. Together, let’s continue building dreams!
